Our Projects &Services

Global Rights Defenders is comprised of a small team of volunteers. By donating to our projects, you are helping us help others.

Funding our projects enables us to expand our project scope and reach, hire international and in-country staff including people with lived experience of forced displacement; add invaluable knowledge to the forced migration sector; help reduce the refugee crisis; and have a positive global impact.

Research: Kakuma Refugee Camp

We want to understand why displaced persons experience barriers when becoming registered/ receiving their official documents as a refugee. Without documentation, refugees cannot gain meaningful employment, education, or become integrated into society. Let us understand these barriers so we can help.

Events

Global Rights Defenders intends to educate broader audiences on the importance of safe and orderly migration, the history of international refugee law, and the importance of self-reliance.

Let's make an impact together and host an in-person event in Canada or Kenya, or facilitate an event online
